Transcript of cheetahs

CHEETAHS THE FASTEST ANIMAL IN THE WORLD IS THE CHEETAH. IT RUNS 70 MILES AN HOUR. NOTHING CAN OUT RUN THE CHEETAH WHEN IT IS IN FULL SPRINT. TO UNDERSTAND HOW FAST A CHEETAH IS TRY AND LOOK OUT THE WINDOW OF YOUR CAR WHEN IT IS GOING AT THE SPEED OF 55 MILES PER HOUR. YOU THEN IMAGINE A CHEETAH RUNNING PAST YOUR CAR. SOME CHEETAHS ARE KEPT AS PETS WHICH IS NOT A VERY GOOD IDEA. IF YOU ARE TO HAVE A CHEETAH AS A PET IT SHOULD BE TAMED. TO IDENTIFY A CHEETAH FROM ANOTHER WILD CAT, IT HAS DARK SPOTTED FUR. ALL ABOUT CHEETAHS LIKE BABY LIONS, BABY CHEETAHS ARE ALSO CALLED CUBS. MOTHER CHEETAHS GIVE BIRTH FROM UP TO 9 CUBS. AS THE CUB GROWS IT SHEDS IT'S FUR. CUBS LEAVE THEIR FAMILIES WHEN THEY'RE 13-20 MONTHS AFTER BIRTH. UNLIKE OTHER WILD CATS, CHEETAHS' CUBS ARE BORN WITH THEIR BEAUTIFUL BLACK SPOTTED FUR. CUBS CHEETAHS LIKE TO LIVE IN AREAS OF VEGETATION, GRASSLANDS, SAVANNAHS, AND MOUNTAINOUS TERRAINS. THEY ARE MOSTLY ALL FOUND IN AFRICA OR SOUTH WESTERN ASIA. HABITATS CHEETAHS ARE TERRIBLE KILLERS. THEIR FOOD IS MAINLY MEAT, MAKING THEM CARNIVORES. THEY HUNT DOWN ANIMALS THAT ARE MOSTLY MAMMALS. DIET http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cheetah BIBLIOGRAPHY WILD CATS BY JOHN E.
