About Us Project on National Museum A view of the museum About national museum The National Museum of Pakistan, Karachi established in 1951 is the historic building of Frere Hall and continued to be there till July, 1969, meanwhile the Government realizing the importance of the National Institution favored the construction a separate building in Burns Garden. The new building’s inauguration ceremony was performed by the then President of Pakistan General Yahya Khan on 21st February, 1970. The Museum represents a complete vista of Pakistan Cultural Heritage from Stone Age down to the birth of Pakistan. Comparision between constructions of past and present This is Badshahi mosque
