-Etc.
Metals,
Non Metals
, and
Metalloids
Elements are either metals, non-metals, or metalliods.

Yes! We do!

One Reason for why elements are important
Elements are what are used to make iPads, iPhones, iPods, T.V.s, computers, most technology.
Carbon-
all living things have carbon. They help keep us alive.

it is in the
sun

so that it helps warm the

Oxygen-
we breathe it! It is what we need to stay alive!

it is in the
plants

and the food that we grow and eat.
What are the most Important Elements?
What are the forms that elements can be found?

Liquid
:

mercury and bromine

Gas
:

nitrogen, helium, hydrogen

Solid
:

silicon, bismuth, iron
Does A Human Being Have Elements in them?
Our bodies are made up of:
65% oxygen, 18% carbon, 10% hydrogen, 3% nitrogen, and many,
many more!
