Japan is a generally temperate and a tropical country.There are four main seasons Spring , Summer ,Autumn and Winter . North is more temperate and becomes more tropical when travelling South.Spring is from March to May it is the month when the famous cherry blossoms bloom . Summer begins in June to August , it experiences a four week rain.Autumn is from September to November it is characterized by light breezes,while Winter is from December to February it rarely drops under 32 Fahrenheit or 0 degrees.
Regions of Japan
Japan is an Asian country located in the south-east of Asia. There are eight regions in Japan.The regions of Japan are Hokkaido ,Shikoku, Kyushu,Honshu,Tohoku,Kanto,Chubu,Kinki and Chugoku.It also has four main islands Hokkaido,Shikoku,Kyushu and Honshu.It has an area of 377,944 km².Its capital city is Tokyo.Japan is made of 6,852
islands including Okinawa.the population of Japan is more than 127,000 million.
There are many rare and unique flora and faunas found all around the world belonging to Japan.There are 140 mammals and over 450 birds in Japan.There are also 3000 species of fish and 73 species of reptile and amphibian.

Some animals (fauna) of japan are Japanese macaque, ryukyu rabbit, spiny mouse, sika deer, spider crabs, giant -salamander , cormorants ,cranes and herons.

Some plants (flora) of japan are sakura (cherry blossom), take (bamboo),momiji (maple), Ume (japanese plume), wisteria and lavender.
Landmarks
Japan has many famous places and landmarks.Some landmarks of Japan are Mount Fuji, Golden Pavilion Temple, Daibutsu of Kamakura /Great Buddha of Kamakura , Seto Sea, the Inland Sea of Japan, Hakone Lake District, Akashi Kaikyō Bridge, Tokyo national Museum, Jigokudani Monkey Park, Himeji Castle, Todaiji Temple, Tokyo Tower, Tokyo Imperial Palace and Hiroshima peace memorial.

Hiroshima Peace Memorial is one of the most famous landmark of Japan.It is located in Central Hiroshima in Japan and it is established in August 1995.In the center of the park is a big statue of a girl named Sadako Sasaki .


Industries and Trades
Japan has many things that they have traded like a Toyota car,Nintendo Ds and many others.

Imports are raw materials such as coal, oil,foodstuffs and wood.Japan's major supplier is China followed by the USA,Australia,Saudi Arabia,South Korea,Indonesia and the United Arab Emirates.

Japan's main export goods are cars, electronic devices and computers. Most important trade partners are China and the USA, followed by South Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore, Thailand and Germany.
Clothing and Housing
Japan housing includes modern and traditional styles.In Japan traditional housing, each room has no specific uses except toilet,entrance (genkan) and kitchen.Each traditional house must have a toilet,kitchen,entrance (genkan) ,living room (ima) ,washitsu,ofuro and many others.

Most traditional housing in Japan have an entryway called the genkan.It is a small area same level as the outside.Each day when people come home they take off their shoes and point the tips to the outside.Then they step onto a raised platform where they wear on slippers.

In Japan there are many clothing from kimono to modern style clothings.Many women used to wear kimonos but now most of them wear modern style clothings.back in fifteenth century kimonos were made of linen, and they were made with multiple layers. Over the following 200 years silk fabrics and new colors were introduced to the kimono.Now kimonos are only worn on special occasions such as a wedding or a birthday party.

Food and Culture
Japan is a small country with many cultures. Bunraku is popular in the end of the 16th century , it is a kind of puppet theater in Japan accompanied by some singing.Kabuki is also one of the cultures in japan. It is a classical theater that evolved from the 17 th century.In modern japan anime, which have been entertaining japanese children since the 1960s are now exported all over the world and series like Astro Boy, Sailor Moon and dragonball z are childrens favorite.
Cultures also include tea ceremony, and noh.

There are many food around the world that originates to Japan.Like sushi and sashimi.Each day most people in Japan eat rice and drink tea which are the things that make up most of their main diet.Apart from rice and tea they also eat noodles.
Language and Numbers
.There are symbols in japan called kanji .It was introduced to japan in the 4th centuries.It used to have the same writing as chinese one thousand of years ago.

Schooling and Education
Students in japan will have to learn how to read,write and talk which are the most basic things .

Kids start at school (gakko)in April at the age of 6.Students will go to school from Monday - Friday and every other Saturdays.Elementary school has 6 years, middle school 3 years , high school is 3 years and university 4 years.Elementary school and middle school are compulsory .At school there are subjects such as art ,music ,maths , japanese language and calligraphy.

Children in japan start at school at the age of 6 in year one.They end school in university.95% of the people go to high school and university
