Born into a wealthy Parisian family
Began playing Tennis at age 15.
Once ranked the number one Tennis player in the world.
French Tennis player, olympian, and sports wear entrepreneur.

Rene Lacoste Tennis background:
René Lacoste won the Wimbledon in 1925 and in 1928. René also won the French singles title in 1925, 1927, and 1929 and became the first foreigner to win the U.S. OPEN championship twice; once in 1926 and once in 1927. He helped lead the French team to winning the Davis Cup in 1927 and in 1928.
Rene had bet with the Captain of the French Davis Cup team on a Crocodile skin suitcase.
