TITLE ASSIGMENT :
Explain how to identify training needs in organization and choose 1 method. Discuss the role of INTAN in handling training development to the public officer.
1. Technology based learning :
including basic PC, interactive multimedia.
For example, in the certain trucking industry, easy to know an interactive multimedia training on tractor-tailers followed by a proficiency test to see how well the employee knows the truck.

2.
Coaching or mentoring.
It gives employees a chance to
receive training one-on-one
like mentor-mentee from an experienced and professional. For example, hire professional coaches for manager.

3.
Role play
which mean
allows employees to act out issues
that could occur in the workplace. It could occur with a group of people split into pairs or whereby two people role play in front of the them.

4.
Group discussion and tutorials
which mean allows all trainee
to discuss about issues that concerned to the new program.

5.
Normal approach to training that permits an employee
: to learn job tasks by actually performing them. On-the-job training focuses on the
acquisition of skills within the work environment
generally under normal working conditions.
1. INTAN is the
training public servants
of the Public Service Department, the central human resource development agency of the Malaysian government.

2. The training are
focusing on the public sector
, opportunities are also
available for the private sector
to participate in some of its programmes.

To develop and enhance the human capital
of the Malaysian Public Service through training that
aimed in developing the attitude, skills and knowledge
of the public officers.

2. To produce civil servants who are competent, professional and ethical as well as officers who are quick to respond to meet the needs of the customer(society).
For example, INTAN provide some of the programs within the short-term such as Computer Competency courses. Learn more about Microsoft Word, Excel, Excess and Basic Internet skills.

3. INTAN also carry the same function as well as
recruitment and selection
for the bodies of public administration. It is because,
to attract the qualified and experience candidate
. Plus, to determine the productivity, profitability and stability of the organizations by making the right hiring decisions.

To respond the challenges of the dramatically shifting role
of the public sector, which is due to the variety of global crisis and changes.
INTAN
serves as a managing agent
in the establishment of the University for Civil Service.

required to undertake training
to enable the employees to perform their duties as they can.
Example : Provide them with the healthy and safety training.

3. Three level of training needs assessment :
organizational assessment,occupational assessment,individual assessment.


4. How performance individual(employee) during working and determine he/she capacity to do new or different work.

5.
Performance problems
can be identified by looking to various factors :
Productivity,customer complaints,product quality.
