Science Analogies By: Nathan Neminski The Cell Wall is like a forcefield because it keeps
the bad stuff out. The Cell Membrane is like airport security because it monitors what goes in and out of the cell. The nucleus is like a king because it controls the cell. Lysosomes are like fire because they breakdown and destroy objects. The Mitochondria is like a power plant because it creates usable energy for the cell. The chloroplast is like a solar panel because it collects energy. The Golgi Apparatus is like a post office because it recieves and sorts out packages. Ribosomes are like factories because they produce protein.
