CareerZone is your all access pass to the following tools & resources:
Employer events & registration
Uploaded resumes & cover letters
Students have access to resources from the Career Development Office, Career Services, & Co-op
What is CareerZone?
The Goodman Career job board includes summer, part-time, volunteer & new grad opportunities for all Goodman students.
The job board includes a variety of different search options such as the ability to:
Save & print job postings
Send email alerts to notify you when a posting in a field you're interested in is added.
Depending on the instructions included in the job description, the application process may ask you to:
Apply through an employer's website
Send an application to the employer via email, or
Apply directly through CareerZone.
How to Apply to a Job Posting
When applying through CareerZone, you must upload documents (i.e. cover letter, resume, transcript - if needed) & create an application package.
Documents must be uploaded in a PDF format only.
To convert a document into PDF format on Microsoft Word, click "Save As" & change "Save as type" from Word document to PDF.
The Career Development Office provides the following types of appointments:
Cover Letter & Resume Feedback
If you have a job interview coming up, you may request a Mock Interview with our Career Consultant
Click on the Appointments tab
Select the type of consultation you are looking for
You will be taken to a calendar that shows available appointment slots
Click on the date then book the time slot that works best for you
Depending on the type of appointment, you may be given instructions regarding documents to submit to the Career Development Office (i.e. providing a copy of your resume prior to a Resume Feedback appointment)

To register for events, click on the event you would like to attend from the calendar and follow the instructions for registration.

CareerZone has the ability to "tag" recommended students so that the Career Development Office can contact them when employers are looking to hire.
