presenteras av Volvo IT 7 mega-trender Human Computer Interaction Human–computer Interaction (HCI) involves the study, planning and design of the interaction between people and computers. It is often regarded as the intersection of computer science, behavioral sciences, design and several other fields of study. We are in the middle of heavy development of HCI. During 60 years we have used mainly the same type of interactions with computers. A few years ago the smartphones introduced the touch screen to the mass market and lately voice interface. Voice and gesture will be a complement to touch and keyboard. Robotics Robotics deals with the design, construction, operation, development and application of robots and computer systems for their control, sensory feedback and information processing. These technologies deal with automated machines that can take the place of humans, in dangerous or manufacturing processes, or simply just resemble humans. Today, robotics is a rapidly growing field. Internet of Things Internet of Things (IoT) is an integrated part of 'the Future Internet' and refers to sensors and actuators embedded in physical objects, from containers to vehicles, these objects are linked through both wired and wireless networks to the Internet. The IoT is seen by many as the ultimate solution for getting fine grained insights into business processes — in the real-world and in real-time. Big Data "Data is the new oil!" Data is exploding all around us; “everything” is being logged and stored. The volumes of data collected around the world is expanding dramatically. Especially the types of data that is unstructured and hard to organize in databases, for instance streamed data such as video and sound. A simple definition of Big Data is data with such huge volumes or complexity that “normal” data management tools can't be utilized. Internet of People Mobility Mobility is characterized by its ongoing long-term development and major significance for the economy and for society. Its progress to date has been marked by periods of upheaval and so too is the course of its expected progress in future – caused for instance by new technologies and increasing urbanization. Blind Spot It is not common that we completely miss a trend that is disruptive. The general mistake we all do is to overestimate the short term impact and underestimate the long term impact of a new technology or trend. How do we make sure to capture all relevant trends and estimate them for what they actually are?
