Motivations
Current paper based methods are slow;
Enhance citizens' awareness for the need of pre-disaster procedures;
Provide a tool for specialists to obtain additional data.
Motivations and goals
Goals
Offer a complete product that improves the resilience of the community;
Opened to a non-specialist public, raising awareness and empowering most citizens;

Probable ground failure;
Damaged inground pool in the backyard.
Conclusions
Concluding Remarks
Direct involvement of citizens is extremely important during emergency to improve the recovery phase;
EDAM can be run by non-specialists;
Can be used for an initial earthquake damage assessment. Very useful especially when number of specialists is limited.
Complete solution. Fixed some lacking parts of other apps.
LIMITATIONS

The earthquake damage assessment on site of professional engineers cannot be avoided with a mobile app.
Necessity of a unique stable framework for conducting post earthquake assessment studies, opened to residents too!
Existing apps?
We want to offer more!
