Weight gain strategies:
If you want to healthily gain weight, there are several healthy ways that you can do so. For example, you can eat larger portions. If you take in more calories than you burn off, you will gain weight. You can also eat more nutrient-rich foods, and eat more dairy, and carbohydrates. Working out more frequently can help you gain muscle mass, which weighs more than fat does. Influences Of Weight
Genes influence body weight by setting basic parameters on the body's metabolism system which is the rate at which your body will burn calories. If one or both of your parents are obese, you will have a high chance of becoming obese, because it will run in the family.

People's food habits and cultural expectations are also important determinations of their weight, influencing the types and amounts of foods consumed. People who eat quickly tend to eat more than people who eat slowly as it takes a few minutes for your stomach to tell your brain it is full. Fast eaters sometimes finish their plates before getting the stomach's fullness message.
