Pop music started in the 1950s and is still going on today. In the 1950s the world had largely recovered from World War II. Also, the Cold War was becoming a hot competition between the USA and the Soviet Union. In 1959 Alaska and Hawaii became the 49th and 50th states in the USA

Pink was born to the name Alicia Beth Moore on September 8, 1979 in Pennsylvania. The instruments she uses are her vocals, guitar, piano, drums, bass, and keyboard.
