Do Beans Have A Sweet Tooth?
If I plant one bean plant and water it with tap water then another with sugar water, which will grow taller?

Could a bean plant have some sort of sugar rush?

Here are the steps I took......
Materials
2 Cups
Sugar
4 Beans Seeds
Soil
Tap Water
measuring Cup
Paper Towels
1 Plate
Hypothesis
I think that if I water one bean plant with sugar water and the other with tap water then the bean plant watered with sugar water would grow taller because it would give the plant some kind of sugar rush..
Step One
Step One Germination: First I germinated the seeds for two days. Germination is the process by which a plant grows from a seed. The most common example of germination is the sprouting of a seedling.. Water is required for germination. Mature seeds are often extremely dry and need to take in significant amounts of water, relative to the dry weight of the seed. Most seeds need enough water to moisten the seeds but not enough to soak them. When the seed takes water it helps break down food,.
Data and Results
After I planted both seeds Cup B (watered with sugar) was tallest, it was taller by 2cm Cup A (watered with tap water) was 9cm tall, Cup B was 11cm.
Picture Timeline
Conclusion
I was right but barly Cup B was only by 2cm taller than Cup A. Cup A was 9cm and Cup B was 11cm. The sugar definly efected the bean plant but I am not sure if it gave the plant a sugar rush.
Abstract
I was trying to find out which bean plant would grow taller if I watered one with sugar water or tap water? Could a plant have a sugar rush? First I germinated the seeds then I grew them exept I watered one with sugar water and one with tap water. The bean plant watered with sugar water (Cup B) grew taller by 2cm. Why did that happen? Although, I planted Two seeds in each cup one was taller than the other but, the other pair were about the same size. The plant may have gotten a sugar rush.
