Transcript of Why You Should Ship Wolfstar
and Potterheads everywhere Remus Lupin Sirius Black Prof. Remus John Lupin
10 March, 1960 – 2 May, 1998 Remus, a bookish and highly intelligent wizard with an unfortunate "furry little problem," is sorted into Gryffindor house in the early 1970s. Remus is a very kind and brave person with a somewhat reserved personality.
During his time at Hogwarts, Remus became one of the "Marauders," and met... Sirius Black III
1959 - 18 June, 1996 Sirius is a wild and unpredictable wizard from a powerful Pureblood family. From a young age, he rebels against his parents, becoming a proud Gryffindor during the early 70's and even buying a flying motorbike. Sirius is an adventurous and loyal person.
As one of the Marauders, Sirius became an animagus in order to assist Remus on full moon nights. Hogwarts 1971: Remus and Sirius meet at Hogwarts.
1971: "The Marauders" become close friends and discover that Remus is a werewolf.
1975: Sirius becomes a dog animagi (along with James and Peter) so that he may join Remus in his wolf form during the full moon.
1978: The Marauders graduate.
School of Witchcraft and Wizardry A Perfect Friendship Remus and Sirius, quite frankly, are perfect for each other.
First, we have Remus, a quiet and reserved person who is terrified of a world that ostracizes him for being a werewolf.
Then, there's Sirius: outspoken and wild, he is one of the few people in Remus' life who not only knows of his affliction, but just doesn't care.
It is this bond that is not only the foundation of their friendship, but their love for each other. (well, almost) Cardigans and tea by Jellllyfish All the Little Things 1 of 5 by alirodina from The Shoebox Project Fanart (aka Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Ass-kaban) Harry Potter and the
TIME THEY HUGGED (can you tell this is getting less sirius the further i get?) Lupin was lowering his wand. Next moment, he had walked to Black's side, seized his hand, pulled him to his feet so that Crookshanks fell to the floor, and embraced Black like a brother.
Harry felt as though the bottom had dropped out of his stomach.
"I DON'T BELIEVE IT!" Hermione screamed.
Lupin let go of Black and turned to her. She had raised herself off the floor, and was pointing at Lupin, wild-eyed.
"You -- you --"
"-- you and him!" -Prisoner of Azkaban, Chapter 17 This is a lot more than a hug. This is Remus, getting his best friend back. This is Sirius, finally believed and accepted. This is the reconciliation of two best friends. This is the first time they've seen each other in 12 years.
It's a beautiful moment.
Also really gay. Harry Potter and the
LYING LOW AT LUPIN'S she ships it "That will do to be going on with," said Dumbledore, stepping between them once more. "Now I have work for each of you. Fudge's attitude, though not unexpected, changes everything. Sirius, I need you to set off at once. You are to alert Remus Lupin, Arabella Figg, Mundungus Fletcher -- the old crowd. Lie low at Lupin's for a while; I will contact you there." -Goblet of Fire, Chapter 36 even Dumbledore ships it There should be some insightful commentary here

FORTY LINES LATER Lupin's eyes were fixed on Sirius.
"Personally," said Lupin quietly, looking away from Sirius at last... 40 lines of text later... That's a lot of staring.
(We're going to skip Remus' reaction to Sirius' death because it hurts to think about.) Harry and his gay uncles THIS HEART
is yoooours I mean, if you don't already due to this awesome prezi. It's a great ship! Albeit a sad pairing, Remus and Sirius make a great couple. Their story can be angsty or joyful. It's filled with love, friendship, adventure, loss, and conflict. It's a flawed relationship, that's for sure, and it's a sad story. But it's a brilliant one that always has hope. Even though they die at the end. It has a diverse amount of fan-work! There's tons of fic in every genre: fluff, adventure, mystery, hurt/comfort, angst, fix-it, smut, alternate universe... and it's especially good.
There are some great fanartists out there with a variety of styles.
If you like fancasting/Ben Barnes/Andrew Garfield, this is definitely the place for you. awww "H.M.S. Wolfstar" "OTP Forty Lines Later" "Puppy Love" ...And, really, anything that takes the etymology of their names/animal forms and smooches them together.
