A Pediatrician is a child physician that specializes in medical care of diseases in children

What Education Do I Need to Be A Pediatrician?
Education required:
How much do Pediatricians earn?
Complete a 4 year undergraduate degree or
"Bachelor's Degree"
You will prepare for the Medical College Admission Test (MCAT), -a requirement to get into most medical schools.
Complete a 4 year medical school in which you will receive
- Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.).
Complete a 3-4 year pediatrics residency
Get certified in pediatrics by obtaining medical liscense

Overall the process takes about 11-12 years
What does a pediatrician do on a day to day basis?
A pediatrician typically earns
