Inherent Biases
Creating Your Pitch
Demonstrate the different things that you are good at.
You don’t need permission to become a recognized expert or authority. It comes from knowing who you are and how to tell your story.
Celebrate yourself. You are incredible and no one will know unless you tell them.
Be clear, direct and to the point.
Weave together a story. Map a chronology. Group
similar ideas and actions together.
"Armed with an appetite for creative endeavours and community advancement, here at the K, we eat art and inspiration." http://kapisanancentre.com/headquarters
Think about your word choice, don't repeat yourself.
Use language that speaks to your audience.
Think about quotes that resonate or that describe you.
Memorize or Speak from your heart.
Be Yourself.
Think iconic imagery & symbolism.
