Come to class prepared (with binder, pens, sharpened pencils, etc.) every day
Greet Mrs. Lockwood and enter our classroom.
Pick up papers upon entry
If you see HW basket out, quickly go to your seat, take out your HW and turn in to bin
If you do not see HW basket out, quickly go to your seat and have HW on desk
Get started with the DO NOW as written on the board or picked up beginning of class
Notes are out and ready to go!
Copy down HW in student agenda
Clean up your area & put items you've used in class back in their proper place
Stay seated
The bell does not dismiss you, the teacher does

Go before or after class but not during.
Most important directions happen first and last 5 minutes.

Half credit if completed the next day
(only applies if we did NOT go over in class).
ABSENT?
-Check ahead with a friend for missed notes or assignments (text, facebook, email or call).
-Pick up worksheets immediately upon return.
-Reschedule missed quizzes or exams.
For sanitary reasons, food and beverages are not allowed in class (unless specified by Mrs. Lockwood).
Study notes frequently
Take DO NOWs and EXIT PASSES seriously. Some times they are graded, however they are more of a self-assessment tool.
Come for extra help when you realize you are struggling, not just the day before a test.
Make study guides from the study sheet you are provided with before test.
Ask relevant questions in class.
I am here to help you succeed.
