Transcript of All the Bright Places

The book is set in Indiana. A lot of it takes place in Bartlett where they live, but it also contains their many journeys.
Main Characters:
The book starts out with Violet and Finch meeting at the bell tower at school. That day they were both considering jumping, yet talked each other down. After that Finch wanted to check in on her and get to know more. He signs her up to be his partner in U.S. geography for the class assignment of discovering the wonders of Indiana. From there they take the assignment and run with it. They create a map of all the wonders and follow it. Through this journey, they grow closer, and open up more.
Cherish what you have while it's there.
Narrative Style:
This book is written in first person, yet throughout the book it switches between Violet and Finch.
This book left a huge impact on me. It showed me how bad depression can get, and the difference someone can make in your life. It also talks about how when certain things happen, we can't blame our self. We could've made a world of difference, and still not have been able to save them.

The school "freak." A senior who everyone see's as a freak and strange. He's trying to figure his life out and keeps going into "sleep" which is an extreme dark place. He's doing everything in his power to just "stay awake."
It's not what you take, it's what you leave.
I highly recommend this book to others, but it's more of a deep chick flick. Guys this may not be the choice for you.
Also, if you have issues switching between speakers throughout a book, don't read this.
