My first x86, a Packard Bell 386x16 with 1 meg of ram!
My first laptop, an Acer 486 with 4 megs of ram and a black & white lcd monitor!
My first home build PC: 1998, the Millenium Falcon, 100mhz Pentium processor, 8 megs of ram
Current desktop PC: Intel i7 overclocked to 4.5ghz, Radeon 7970 graphics, 32 gigs of memory, 2x24" flatscreen monitors
plus: a netbook, a laptop, a smartphone... our house has 7 computers in it!
1980s & '90s
... used to type in BASIC games and edit them on the Commodores (Vic 20 & C-64)
