Sacrifices of Rosa Parks One big thing that Rosa Parks was known for was not giving up her seat on the bus. In Rosa Park's times she had to go to a diiferent school and had to use some different transportation because of her color In Montgomery , she had rufused to give up her seat. When she would ride the Montgomery city bus, the first 10 seats were reserved for white people only. Rosa was borned on February 4, 1913 in Tuskegee, Alabama. Another fact was that Rosa was named after her maternal grandmother. Rosa had a younger brother that was named Sylvester Rosa and her brother were raised by her grandmother One interesting fact was that Rosa Parks had to take home all of her belongings from school because they were afraid that the Ku Klux Klan might burn down the school over night
