Brain Size: Dogs
A dogs brain is bigger than a cats. Does that make it smarter? Usually people will jump to the conclusion that, the bigger the brain, the smarter the animal. That doesn't always prove intelligence.
Who's smarter?
Dog vs. cat.

Brain Size: Cats
A cats brain might be smaller than a dogs but, in a part of the brain called the cerebral cortex (the part of the brain responsible for learning and memory) cats have 300 million neurons while dogs only have 160 million neurons. That's about half of a cat! Still, dogs have the bigger brain, it's just that cats have better learning and memory skills.
