It took only a few days to realize the instructional power of the software. I knew this tool was needed for all our students taking Calculus courses. By spring 2012 all sections of Calculus were using MML. My students love the instant feedback and I love that students now spend more time practicing math than they ever did before! Now students who come hating math, leave feeling like it isn't bad after all!!

A single teacher cannot review every problem a student works...with MML feedback is immediate on every question.
The electronic grading process builds momentum and corrects problems before having chance to solidify.
To some students, completing HW in the online environment is more effective than completing it in traditional environment. We recently required all students taking Calculus 1 and 2 to use MML to complete HW and even quizzes. In doing so, we discovered that the majority of students who had an average of 80% or higher on their HW assignments, successfully completed the course with a "C" or better! Implementing MML, one is able to monitor individual performance and thereby efficiently target any areas with specific issues. MML has improved retention and better final grades. There is a high correlation between the students who do their HW on MML and those who pass the course. I can know exactly how much time a student has spent doing the HW. And if they missed the deadline, they knew that under no circumstances could they get an extension. Very quickly, they learned to do and submit their work on time.
All human errors in grading the assignments was eradicated. Not a single compalint was voiced about the grading of the assignments and all grading was consistent from section to section. I have about 80 students in the course, they are learning at fantastic rates and grades...I love this fantastic product...thank you Pearson team for the super job that you do in every way! STUDENTS Feedback If MML was included in every math course, I would be taking a whole lot more math courses!
Never have I excelled in math like this and maintained what I have learned. This software enhances the learning experience and gets instant feedaback. The most imprtant feature of MML is the"Help me solve this" button.
