Cesar Chavez Hispanic Migrant Workers 4th slide What about the
People who
package your
potatoes? The Hispanic migrant population working in America at the time, started the United Farm Workers. They formed it because the hispanic immigrants that worked the fields were getting under paid and not enough rights. One of many nonviolent actions Cesar took was to strike one of which was the Delano Grape strike. On the strike the hispanic farmers boycotted many foods including grapes. They did other boycotts, they even marched 300 miles from Delano to Sacramento California
and went on multiple STRIKES! Just so they could get better pay and rights. Since many of the immigrants were illegals working in the United States, do you think it was prejudiced and wrong that they did not get equal rights? Explain. Like this on Facebook lol Video Now Ceasar Chaves is a very important person in the "United Farm Workers Association,"

-He did many nonviolent things to make a change
-Also he helped people medically putting an end to certain tools that cause permanent damage now tell me your thoughts Huelga - Means to strike Prezi made by: David Maddox
