Setting
time, place, location of the story
Parts of a Plot
Plot:
sequence of events in a story
Introduction:
characte setting and basic plot idea is shared at the beginning of a story.
Rising Action:
a series of events that build the plot
Climax:
turning point of narrative work at highest tension.
Falling action:
literary action that happens AFTER the climax and conflict has been resolved
Resolution:
problem of the story is resolved or worked out.
Narrative (or Narration)
A message that tells the particular of an act or occurrence or course of events.
Dialogue
Words spoken and put into quotes.
