Located in the heart of Orange County California...
Lies a small, private, Liberal Arts University...
Huntington Beach, Laguna Beach, and Newport Beachare all within 25 minutes of the school!
Concordia University is located in a suburban city South of Los Angeles, called Irvine.
Irvine has a population of about 216,000 people and is known as the safest city in the United States.
Disneyland is also about 25 miles North of Irvine and you can see the fireworks from the campus.
Has a fairly small campus with a total of 1,269 undergraduate students, but 3,251 students are enrolled.
Concordia has an enjoyable hilltop setting and is located on a 70-acre plateau that overlooks Orange County.
The focal point of the campus is the CU Center where all large events, performances, and church services are held.
There is a library, bookstore, and performing arts center.
At the top of the hill is the Good Shephard Chapel where weddings, performances, and church services are held.
Concordia also has a large gym where most sporting events happen!
Concordia has a boys' baseball team and girls' softball team.
Concordia also has both boys' and girls' soccer teams.
They also have a boys' tennis team and girls' tennis team.
Who could forget the cafeteria?
Concordia University Irvine offers an array of food choices and services for students. Bon Appétit, CUI’s premiere caterer, has won many awards in the food service industry for their healthy food options and home cooked favorites.
Concordia even has an on-campus coffee shop called "Emendare."

There is also a campus cafe called "Eagle Rock" where they serve “always on the menu” favorites, such as all-natural beef burgers, grilled chicken sandwiches and your favorite pub-style sides.

Along with both girls' and boys' basketball teams.

But the small size of the college allows there to be more intimate classes and more interaction with the professors. The student to faculty ratio is 17:1.

Freshmen & Sophomore Dorms:
These are suite-style residences where 2 people share a seperated room and there are 2 suitemates on the other side. The only place the 4 people share is the bathroom.
Some Examples:
Junior & Senior Dorms:
These are apartment-style rooms where 2 people share one room. There are 2 rooms in the apartment so 4 people share the whole place that includes a kitchen, bathroom, and living room area.
The great thing about these dorms, is that each housing complex has its own lounge area with a kitchen, gaming table, and television.
Examples:
Bible studies and student-run activities.
Actually, the girls' softball team were national champions too.

2.) Official High School Transcript
Official transcripts must be sent directly from the high school in a sealed envelope or hand-carried to Concordia University Irvine.

3.) Letter of Recommendation
All applicants must submit a Letter of Recommendation from a guidance counselor or teacher.

4.) Official SAT and/or ACT scores
All freshman applicants must submit official scores from SAT and/or ACT. Scores must be sent directly from the testing institution to the Office of Undergraduate Admissions.
