The work is considered successful if it imitiates what we see in the natural world.
Does it look

real
?
The work is considered successful if it contains a perfect use of elements and principles of design.
The work is considered successful if it conveys a clear message or mood.
ALL religious artwork applies.
Aesthetic views can be used interchangeably.
Critics can come to different conlusions about art based on the aesthetic view they used for judging.
There is no right or wrong-
-Only well-presented arguments with plenty of supporting evidence-
- or not.
Treat it like a court case.
The art is on trial.
And you must defend it.
Art criticism is a logical process that works on all types of art.
