Global companies are part of a sustainable development perspective
2010 marked an awakening for Facebook’s sustainability efforts, initiating a clear focus on protecting the environment through use of the Facebook platform, technological innovation in the data center, partnerships, and their own day-to-day operations.
In 2011, they made significant progress, scaling up and stretching their efforts around the globe.
2012 – and beyond represents great promise for Facebook and their sustainability initiatives, with a commitment to continue pushing their company – and industry – forward.
Global company design is interested in the company in a holistic, comprehensive and thorough approach
Facebook founders have from the very beginning instilled Zuckerberg’s strong ethical belief and core values which they named « The Hacker way ». The high ethical standards, responsibility towards society and thriving employees are still key elements in their approach to business.
In this way, they have a framework which perfectly reflects the holistic philosophy, and serves as a guideline for leadership, development and innovation.
