Through Lawrence's art work he portrayed important times African Americans went through. Armstrong was married three times and finally re-married and stuck with wife Lucille. Armstrong's talent had brought the African American culture into the music business Jessie Owens (42explore2) (42explore2) (42explore2) (42explore2) Born in Oakville, Alabama, September 12, 1913, he passed away March 31, 1980 Owens and Minnie Ruth Solomon met at Fairmount Junior High School in Cleveland when he was 15 years old and she was 13 years old. Later had 3 kids.
