Rosso Florentino

- Giovanni known as Rosso Fiorentino

- An italian mannerist painter and he is the founder of mannerism in 1530


- Italian painter and a notable exponent of the Renaissance school

- Characterized by its muscular figures, dramatic gestures, and bold use of perspective in the Mannerist style, while

- Drew a differneet version of the “last supper” painting

Francesco Mazzola

First characteristically mannerist painters. Parmigianino’s self-portrait in a convex mirror shows the artist painting his own distorted figure.

Jacopo Pontormo’s

Unlike many renaissance paintings, were not informative and invited a lot of contemplation and opened themselves up to interpretation.
