Roald Dahl was born on the 13th of September 1916 and died on the 23 of November 1990. (aged 74)

Roald was about 6 feet 6 inches tall.

His favorite color was yellow.

Roald Dahl
Roald started writing his own stories at age 13.

Roald wrote his first published book at age 27.

He started writing after being encouraged by the author C.S. Forrester.

He has said that he is never satisfied with what he has done!

His favorite book that he wrote was The BFG, my favorite too!

He wrote his books in his hut on the lawn of Gipsy House.

He wrote everyday from 10 am - 12 pm, ate lunch, and then wrote again from 3 pm - 5 pm.

He was first married to Patricia Neal, divorced her, and married Felicity (Liccy) Crosland. He had 5 kids within both marriages: Lucy, Tessa, Olivia, Ophelia, and Theo Dahl.

He loved milk chocolate.

Roald could speak English, Norwegian, and Swahili!

1983: Roald Dahl divorces Patricia Neil and marries Felicity Crosland.

1916: Roald Dahl is born on September 13th in Llandaff South Wales.
1934: Graduates from Repton Public School and starts working for Shell Oil Company in London.
