Transcript of THE CELL
Many cells make up each part
of an organism.
They work together to help
an organism survive.
Eukryotic cell is basically what we call animal and plant cell. These cells contain organelles (what we call human body organs) that are surrounded by membranes.
1. Complete the word map:
Prokaryotic cells are one- celled organisms or bacterias. This means they don't have structures surrounded by membranes they have few internal structures.
The first characteristic of
a living thing is that they
are made up of cells.
A cell is the building block of an organism.
Make food for the plant
Take in water from the soil
They can be
in different shapes and sizes but they have the same parts inside.
They are generally smaller than plant cells, are more similar in size and typically rectangular
or cube shaped
