An operating system is the low-level software that supports a computer's basic functions, such as scheduling tasks and controlling peripherals.
what is an operating system?
An operating system is a program designed to run other programs on a computer. A computer’s operating system is its most important program. it supports the computer and without it, the computer wouldn't work properly.
Without an operating system the computer wouldnt work, it controls everything and is the first thing that loads when the computer set up.
