Evangelism Vision of NW Worship Family But in your hearts set apart Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect, keeping a clear conscience, so that those who speak maliciously against your good behavior in Christ may be ashamed of their slander. (1 Peter 3:15-16) Fathers, do not exasperate your children; instead, bring them up in the training and instruction of the Lord. Ephesians 6:4 2 Timothy 1:5; 3:14-17 Then Jesus' mother and
brothers arrived. Standing
outside, they sent someone
in to call him. A crowd was
sitting around him, and they told him, "Your mother and brothers are outside looking for you." "Who are my mother and my brothers?" he asked. Then he looked at those seated in a circle around him and said, "Here are my mother and my brothers! Whoever does God's will is my brother and sister and mother." Mark 3:31-35 Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks. 24 God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in spirit and in truth." John 4:23-24 I, John, am the one who heard and saw these things. And when I had heard and seen them, I fell down to worship at the feet of the angel who had been showing them to me. But he said to me, "Do not do it! I am a fellow servant with you and with your brothers the prophets and of all who keep the words of this book. Worship God!" (Revelation 22:8-9) Should we expect guests to view things from a spiritually mature point of view? Getting used to mediocrity Our Vision The Great
Commission Matthew 28:18-20 Change Phrase? Vision: "give them what they want" etc. Like it or not, the physical appearance
of the building and grounds
communicates something. Evangelistic and Mission-driven – A clear emphasis on God’s evangelistic mission: communicating the good news of Jesus Christ, both abroad and especially locally. Training is available for every believer—man and woman, young and old—not only to be a disciple of Jesus but also an agent of the kingdom of God. Equipped in this way, we share our faith and the hope of our calling through
our whole lives—
word and deed,
wherever we are,
24/7. Clarify: Family-based youth and children’s ministries – partnering with families to cultivate spiritual growth in their children, ultimately becoming fully devoted disciples of Jesus. An environment where adults teach and model Christ-like behavior by spending time with children and teens, resulting in a desire to get outside of themselves and reach out to others. Includes: Congregational Worship Lifestyle-worship Personal & Family Devotions NOT entertainment, I have been reminded of your sincere faith,
which first lived in your grandmother
Lois and in your mother Eunice and,
I am persuaded, now lives in you also.

But as for you, continue in
what you have learned and have become convinced of, because you know those from whom you learned it, 15 and how from infancy you have known the holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. 16 All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, 17 so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work. (Matthew 10:37; Luke 14:26) Attractional 2 Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful. 3 And pray for us, too, that God may open a door for our message, so that we may proclaim the mystery of Christ, for which I am in chains. 4 Pray that I may proclaim it clearly, as I should. 5 Be wise in the way you act toward outsiders; make the most of every opportunity. 6 Let your conversation be always full of grace, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how to answer everyone. Spiritual/emotional Many are the plans in a man's heart, but it is the LORD's purpose that prevails So he said to me, "This is the word of
the LORD to Zerubbabel: 'Not by might
nor by power, but by my Spirit,'

True, Spiritual Worship - Our vision is for each person at NW to celebrate the greatness of God, honoring Him each day of the week - body, soul and mind as living sacrifices! When we assemble together, our vision is that everyone participates and actively engages in praise and worship. We respond to God’s presence through worship that is reverent, upbeat, encouraging and celebrates the One whom we gather together to glorify. Not just duty and acts
