He ran in the Olympics and he worked in community service.
He was a star at the Olympics and beat alot of people.
He was the first american to win 4 Olympic gold medals in a single Olympiad.
Received the medal of freedom from president Ford.

Jesse Owens was born in Oakville, Alabama near Danville on Sept. 12, 1913. He died in March 31, 1980 tucson, Az. He died of lung cancer's.
