justinslc@gmail.com Steve Jobs - ousted from Apple in 1985...Returns as an adviser to apple in '96...becomes CEO in '97 and by '98 brings Apple back to profitability from near bankruptcy. Michael Jordan was cut from Varsity tryouts as a Sophomore in High School... According to Forbes Magazine, "No one has had more public success (and failure) then Donald Trump." Abraham Lincoln campaigned and failed for several political offices, was demoted in the military, and had several failed businesses before becoming President of the U.S., winning the Civil War, and freeing America's slaves. Harry S. Truman went bankrupt, Henry Ford went bankrupt 5 times before creating Ford Motor Company. Bill Gates dropped out of Harvard and created his first company, which failed. Einstein was expelled, Oprah and Walt Disney were both fired. Winston Churchill, who played a pivotal role in defeating Nazi Germany in WWII, lost every election he entered until winning his spot as Prime Minister. For more than 500 of America's most successful people, "success came just one step beyond the point at which defeat had overtaken them." Thomas Edison - dreamed of a lamp operable by electricity...after more than 10,000 failures he created the light bulb. “I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work.”
