Tweens 3rd and 4th Grade
Transcript of Tweens 3rd and 4th Grade
Let's talk about Tweens!
We will survive these changes... together
And one more thing...
•“Tween” is used to describe children between childhood and the teenage years and covers the ages between 8 – 12 years of age.
What's a Tween?
With an emphasis on empathy and respect, the Tweens Program at Greene Street Friends School aspires to prepare students for the physical, social, emotional, intellectual changes they will experience throughout adolescence. We believe that delivering practical information in a safe, compassionate environment empowers our students to make healthy choices. Recognizing that parents and guardians are a child’s first teacher, we encourage open communication between home and school, and between students and adults, as we collaborate in support of our Tweens.
Tweens Mission Statement:
Empathy & Respect
You are unable to move away from your own thoughts and feelings, to hear and understand the thoughts and feelings of others.
Eating & Sleeping
what's the best way to keep you in the loop?
