• Fifteen minutes after the LAPD_OML is disconnected, the corresponding BTS will be reset automatically. Possible Causes • The connections of the antenna feeder transmit channel are faulty.

26235 Critical Fault • The CPRI link between the current-level RF unit and the BBU or upper-level RF unit is broken.
• The RF unit is not powered on or running improperly.

Crossed This alarm is reported when the VSWR at the antenna port of the TX channel of an RF unit is higher than the preset threshold. Impact on System • The preset VSWR threshold is very low.
• The feeder connector on the antenna port is loose.
• The feeder is bent, deformed, or damaged.
• The VSWR detection circuit of the RF unit is faulty. Alarm ID Alarm Severity Alarm Type
26529 Critical Fault Possible Causes Attributes If return loss at the antenna port is excessive, the RF unit automatically switches off the TX channel (TX Services disrupted). If it is relatively large, the output power of the RF unit decreases and the cell coverage shrinks. RF Unit RX Channel
Fault This alarm is reported when the average RX level difference between main and diversity RX channels of the RF unit exceeds the statistical RX level difference in each measurement period (32 dB by default, user-definable). Impact on System The UL receive sensitivity drops, and the coverage area is reduced. If the faulty TRX is a BCCH TRX, the coverage area of the cell is reduced, which may lead to the drop of the handover success rate. Alarm ID Alarm Severity Alarm Type
28011 Critical Fault • The RF connections at the diversity RX port of the RF unit are loose or broken.

Abnormal Alarm TRX Hardware Critical
Alarm The alarm is reported when any of the following conditions occurs: (1) The TRX phase-locked loop is faulty, which causes the TRX unavailable. (2) The DSP download fails. (3) The power unit, power amplification unit, flash memory or RF module is faulty, which causes the TRX unavailable. All the services of the DTRU will be interrupted upon occurrence of this alarm. 4136 Critical Fault • The DTRU hardware is running abnormally.
• The DTRU hardware is faulty. Possible Causes TRX Communication Alarm The alarm is reported when the handshake between Carrier Module and TMU at the CBUS2 link layer fails. 4192 Critical Fault Possible Causes • The DTRU hardware is running abnormally.
• The DTRU hardware is faulty. The alarms listed above are a few among all the service effecting alarms but can be very critical. These should be monitored very carefully. Other than these there are other BTS, Cell, TRX and Channel alarms that occur occasionally. Secondly PS alarms are not stated here.
