Click "new mesage" button.

Realize that you cannot just enter a phone number, you can only select existing contact from the list.
Step 4:

Go to the "Contacts" section.
Step 1:

Go to the "Chats" section.
Step 5:

Press "New Contact" button.
Step 6

Fill in contact information and save it.
Step 8:

Click "new mesage" button.
Step 7:

Go back to the "Chats" section.
Step 9:

Select newly created contact.
Step 10:

Compose and send message.
Step 2:

Click "new mesage" button.

Go to the "Chats" section.
Step 5

If confirmed on step #4, fill in contact information and save it.
Step 4:

Ask if you want to save number to your contacts (new or existing)?

Compose and send message.
