P: Bring out HW from last night, you have 5 minutes to add any additions you need.
DO NOW REVIEW
-Each organelle plays an important role in everyday life.
-Organelles help with chemical reactions to move quickly and correctly.
-Help with synthesizing proteins, carbohydrates and lipids for the human body.
-Also they hold valuable information in the form of DNA in the Nucleus.
-DNA (deoxyribonucleic acid) holds important genetic material in humans and other animals.

Work Period
Poster Project.
1. You and your team will be assigned an organelle.
2. Once you are assigned an organelle you will then research:
-What the organelle is made of? (1 person)
-What is the function of this organelle
.
(1 person)
3.This research will be written onto your poster with:
-A title
-A photo
-A comparison to a part or function to a school. (1 person)

-Leave out homework for a grade.
-Poster will be completed in class on Thursday.
-This will be a grade, one person is responsible for each of the three paragraphs.

Students will be able to understand the proper function of each organelles and their function
