Wall Composition

Eco-Wall Panel registered patent under Acero-Homes®,
which is manufactured at our plants using the following materials:

16 caliber galvanized structural steel framework coated on both the outer as well as the interior face with 10 mm thick. The center of the panel is filled with Fire-Stopping foam, to create what we call an Eco-Wall Panel with a 108 mm thick dimension.
Our Eco-Wall Panels have manufacturer warranty against corrosion and environment for 50 years. Stucco, or any Frieze-Preparation can be applied to Our Eco-Wall Panels after they have been installed, this is how we achieve the final finish for the outer part of the House, or facade. the stucco is not included in the estimate.
The Eco-Wall Panels can be painted if the customer does not wish to apply the Frieze-Preparation or stucco. The inner lining of the panel is made of Fire-Stopping foam, which is of course fireproof for greater security. WE DO NOT USE EXPANDED POLYSTYRENE as these emanate toxic gases when exposed to fire.

The ceiling panels:
The ceiling Panels are Acero-Max™ Boards with Fire-Stopping Foam; this is how we protect the House from external heat while at the same time maintaining a very nice temperature, making it a thermally well-built structure against heat or cold.

program) from which a chosen Park’s sales team would market our homes and finalize the sales. The format is simple and very rewarding for all parties. A model home showcased in a commercially active park who meets our criteria is the base of our marketing plan.

THE CAPITAL
The investor’s capital is 100% guaranteed by the ownership of the model home; the investor is always in control of his money as he is the owner of the home and not investing in a company where he has no control over his investment. Any turn of event does not affect the investor’s asset as he is always in a position to sell the house and get his investment back.

THE VALUE
As you all have experienced before, the model home is always dressed up for the occasion. Every fourth buyers will want a turnkey product and will make an offer on the model home itself; this situation creates a small center of additional profits for the investor flipping the home (3000$), but most importantly, it will keep the investment fresh and updated! In five years time, the investor could still own a 6 months old property.

The real estate experience shows us that the typical modular home is, and has always been, devaluating with time. Mobile homes parks have a common goal - long term rental or
sale of land. To offer a product that stands out from the competition is an opportunity for them. Our exit strategy is to implement a model home in the park offering the most benefits and visibility of each of these privileged sectors in Florida.

The parks are evaluated and selected based on the following criteria:

■ Current and historical level of development of the park
■ Potential future sales volume
■ Number of similar parks nearby that will be served by the model home
■ Interest of the operators or owners of the park
■ Installation conditions

The parks will have an absorption rate of 20 to 30 units per year as a base. We are confident that the superiority of our product will not only contribute to the sales volume associated with the park but attract customers from neighboring parks.

In addition, the sales come from neighboring parks could become a additional source of income for our park owner. The implementation of the model home in Quebec and later other Canadian cities (a unique PermaStructures advantage) is an exceptional promotional tool that no park can afford and no other manufacturer is offering on the market today.

Moreover Canadian residents are often at the forefront of sales and rentals in this type of park. In addition, the current situation in the U.S. also contributes to the growth of this industry as it is becoming an attractive and economical alternative for middle class Americans.

Steel mills produce galvanized sheet steel, the base material for light-gauge steel. PermaStructures takes the sheets of steel into the final profiles used for framing. The sheets are zinc coated (galvanized) to prevent oxidation and corrosion. Steel framing provides excellent design flexibility due to the inherent strength of steel, which allows it to span over a longer distance than wood, and also resist wind and earthquake loads. Steel framing is inherently less energy efficient than wood as it is a conductor. Construction with steel framing contributes to thermal bridges between the outside environment and interior conditioned space.

Today there is a wide use of light gauge steel in residential and commercial buildings, which is replacing the wooden studs used in framing. Additionally, if we look at wood and steel from costs perspective then they both cost more or less the same. Not using wood as a building material helps in conserving forest resources this makes using steel a Green Building Solution. Further, when a steel building is taken down then the steel used in the building can be reused where as if a wooden building is taken down then the used wood almost always goes to trash. When compared to wood, steel is a stronger and lighter building material which is also termite and fire proof. Additionally, steel has greater resistance against extreme weather conditions like hurricane, tornado and earthquake.

Steel frame structures usually refers to a building structure technique with a “skeleton frame” of vertical steel columns and horizontal I-beams, constructed in a rectangular grid to support the floors, roof and walls of a building which are all attached to the frame. The development of this technique made the construction of the skyscraper possible. [Steel Frame]

At PermaStructures thin sheets of galvanized steel can be formed into steel studs for use as a building material for rough-framing in commercial or residential construction, and many other PermaStructures applications. The dimension of the room is established with horizontal track that is anchored to the floor and ceiling to outline each room. The vertical studs are arranged in the tracks, usually spaced 16″ apart, and fastened at the top and bottom.

The primary shapes used in PermaStructures residential construction are the C-shape stud and the U-shaped track, and a variety of other shapes. Framing members are generally produced in a thickness of 12 to 25 gauges. The wall finish is anchored to the two flange sides of the stud, which varies from 1-1/4″ to 3″ thick, and the width of web ranges from 1-5/8″ to 14″. Rectangular sections are removed from the web to provide access for electrical wiring.


The Technology

Steel trusses have been used in commercial building construction for a long time. In the past 10 years, there has been an increase of their use in the building of residential structures.
There are several reasons for this. Steel Trusses do not require trees to be cut down to make the studs, and the price of steel does not fluctuate as much as the price of wood. They provide a greener alternative to using natural resources such as wood.

A light gauge steel truss offers the architect, engineer, contractor and owner all the flexibility and design advantages of wood trusses, plus the versatility and safety of an ECO-FRIENDLY alternative material. Light Gauge Steel Trusses provide a pitched roof alternative to the flat roofs normally supplied by bar joist and pan steel construction as seen on commercial buildings. Light gauge also eliminates the use of fire treated lumber which is a chemically treated version of regular lumber.

 Light gauge truss used for schools, assisted living facilities, military facilities, fire department and warehouses. They are quickly becoming a more viable choice in residential building as well, due to the safety factors and piece of mind associated with the use of a steel truss.

Recyclability
Much of the steel used to make light Steel Green Homes (Link to Steel Green Homes under OUR Technology) framing is recycled. 
When a steel frame building is demolished, the steel can be recycled. 
It takes approximately one-quarter of an acre of mature trees to produce the wood framing for a typical house. The same house can be steel framed from three or four old cars. 
Steel can be recycled indefinitely without losing any of its qualities. 
When steel buildings are no longer required in their current location, they can be dismantled and re-erected elsewhere. 

Energy Efficiency
Prefab Steel Green Homes framed buildings can be very energy-efficient. The strength of steel requires fewer wall studs, so there are fewer thermal bridges (un-insulated areas) to transmit heat.
