Statement of the problem.

Ho: There is no significant difference between level of customer satisfaction of Jollibee and McDonald’s in terms of service to the residence of San Pedro, Laguna.

Ha: There is a significant difference between level of customer satisfaction of Jollibee and McDonald’s in terms of service to the residence of San Pedro, Laguna.



Hypotheses.
“Level of Customer Satisfaction of Jollibee and McDonald’s in San Pedro, Laguna in terms of service”
The researchers used the descriptive method in the “Level of Customer Satisfaction of Jollibee and McDonald’s in San Pedro, Laguna”. In gathering data, questionnaires will be given to the sample size population of Jollibee and McDonald’s in San Pedro, Laguna and it would be conducted through survey. Through this, the researcher would get the necessary information.


Research Design
Respondents
The researchers only distributed the questionnaire in every customer of both Jollibee and McDonald’s in San Pedro, Laguna who are willing to take part in the research being undertaken. The respondents are asked to answer the questionnaires honestly base on their assessment the service they experienced in the said fast food restaurants. The respondents simply filled out the questionnaires.
Collecting data is an important aspect of any type of research study. Gathering an inaccurate data may have an impact to the result of a study and it may lead to invalid results. There are two data which are needed to be collected, the primary data and the secondary data. Primary data are those collected data that are directly acquired from first hand experience while secondary data are those data came from previous studies. To gather primary data, the researchers provide questionnaires and seek customer’s point of view, while for secondary data, the researchers used books, articles, and previous study related to the topic.

1. What is the demographic profile of the respondents in terms of :
a.) Age ;
b.) Gender ;
c.) Civil status; and
Monthly household income

2. What are the factors of customers satisfaction of Jollibee and McDonald’s in relation to it’s service?

The researchers consult our adviser with regards to the questionnaire that will be used to conduct the survey. After the researchers consulted their adviser, they distributed the questionnaires to the respondents and collected after they finished answering it.

The researcher used a survey questionnaire in gathering data that will be useful in determining the level of customer satisfaction of Jollibee and McDonald’s in San Pedro, Laguna. It is a guide that will help the researchers to get information and to determine the demographic profile of the respondents such as name, age, gender, civil status, and monthly household income. The researchers used Likert scale to determine the rating of the weighted mean. The respondents will choose in the four categories if either they were:

4 - (SA) Strongly Agree, 3 - (MA) Moderately Agree, 2 - (DA) Disagree, 1 - (SD) Strongly Disagree.
