What do you enjoy doing during your free time?
"I enjoy playing volleyball and being adventurous. I love to sing, dance and have downtime with my friends. Also, an important part of my life is volunteering. I like to go out and help make a difference in the community. "
Are you involved in any student organizations or clubs? If so, what?
"I am a Bonner Scholar here at Berea and I plan on helping out at the other organizations at the Center of Excellence in Learning Through Service (CELTS). CELTS is an amazing program and I think that everyone here should get involved or stop by and see what we are all about. Although CELTS is a big part of my life, I plan of getting involved with other clubs and organizations."
Where do you see yourself in five years?
"Five years from now, I plan on completing my master’s degree and working closely with a nonprofit so that I can get experience for when I start my own nonprofit. However, I am very optimistic for the future and I am excited to see what God has in store for me!"
We will be hosting a Wellness Workshop featuring guest presenter Jill Gurtatowski within the next couple of weeks! Learn how to avoid that pesky "freshman 15" and get healthy on campus. Watch for the email and Facebook announcements!
My name is Kierra Bozeman. I’m 18 years old and I am here for my first year at Berea. I was born and raised in East Lansing, MI, however, after my freshman year of high school I moved to Nashville, Tennessee and finished school there. I have three older siblings and one younger sibling. My parents were divorced when I was younger. My mom is the most important role model I have and she is also my biggest fan.
