We do not know who, when, or where it was discovered
We've sent about 20 probes to Venus. Venera 7 was the first.
Venus is hot, rocky, but relatively flat.
Venus rotates backwards, and is the 2nd brightest object in the solar system.
My Limerick

Chilling on this planet at 740K,
Where the year is slower than day,
I've seen 20 probes fly by,
inside of our CO2 sky,
I love this planet anyway.
