In 1980, there were only 1,019 magnet schools in the U.S., and in 2002, there were over 3,000
It was not until 1971 that the idea of this alternative school turned over to the high school atmosphere
A huge goal for magnet schools is promoting desegregation between inter-racial students
These schools are great for junior high and high school students because it shows a love for learning, motivation and more opportunities for universities and community colleges. Magnet School?
