Dante's Inferno Nine circles of Hell Acheron Limbo The Lustful the Gluttonous The Avaricious & prodigal In Limbo dwell the ones who didn't believe in christ, although they weren't sinners. The lustful reside in the second circle of hell, and are tossed about in a never-ending storm, symbolizing how lust blows one around aimlessly. The Gluttons are forced to lie in a disgusting
slush made by endless foul, icy rain. The hoarders and squanderers spend an eternity jousting, pushing large weights towards each other, and then back down. The Wrathful & Sullen Here, the wrathful fight each other on the surface of th Styx, while underneath the sullen ones lie gurgling beneath the water.
