-The name Mary means 'Rebellion'.
-St Mary Magdalen's history really inspired me to choose her as my Saint, because Mary changed her life around. From having lots of demons removed and sinning often to loving Jesus and being really holy and praying a lot. I feel like she is a role model for every bad sinner and everyone in general.

Ways that I can be Like St Mary Magdalen
Things that St Mary Magdalen is Patron Saint of.........
When I was 7 or so, I always thought Mary the mother of God was Mary Magdalen. Then when people were talking to me I mixed up Mary the mother of God and Mary Magdalen. When I was about 9, I researched Mary Magdalen, and she was the woman who washed Jesus’ feet with her tears and dried his feet with her hair.
Mary Magdalen grew up in a town called Magdale. Mary was a sinner and had seven demons removed from her. Then she met Jesus and he changed her life. After she had met Jesus she felt sorry for the life she had led. She became friends with Jesus and was present at the crucifixion. Later on she was the first person to see Jesus when he rose from the dead.
Then 14 years later she was put on a boat, by the Jews, with St. Lazarus and St. Martha, St. Maximin (who baptized her), St. Sidonius, her maid Sera, and the body of St. Anne. When they finally found land they were at the shores of Southern France. St. Mary went and spent the rest of her life in a cave known as Sainte-Baume.
She was given communion by the angels every day as her only food. When Mary got sick she was miraculously transported, just before she died, to the chapel of St. Maximin. At the chapel she received the last sacraments and died at the age of 72.
St. Mary did a lot of bad things in her life, like being happy to be a sinner and having demons in her, but she canceled them out with all the good deeds. She was a friend of Jesus, the Apostals and some other saints. St. Mary’s feast day is on July 22.
