Music Northern Renaissance music is very bouncy, alive and waltzy. In the early renaissance, music was mostly polyphonic (several simultaneous melodies) that were generally masses or motets made for the church. Some large orchestral pieces were made, including many lutist pieces.

Contributions of the Northern Renaissance The organ Polyphony Viola De Gamba Music became more of an art than it was before. Physical Sciences Science and art were highly intermingled. Many elements of science were used to benefit the arts. Whether it was developing tools to build larger sculptures or using nature to embellish a piece. One of the most prolific artists/scientists/inventors of the time is Leonardo Da Vinci. He invented, and set the base idea for the creation of many things, such as the flying machine.
