1. Register @ your respective library by filling up the registration form (available @ the library counter)

2. You must have your MNU ID number for registration
3. If you are a new student, bring your course registration slip for verification purpose
4. Upon submitting the registration form, you will receive your library membership user ID and password, which will be activated after 24 hours

"Can I renew items without taking the books to the library?"
At present, we allow e-mail renewal of items issued to library members registered as Academic staff. Items cannot be renewed over the phone.
To renew items, send an e-mail to
with the details of the item (Member ID, Title of the Book, and the due date). CANNOT BE RENEWED IF THE ITEM IS ALREADY DUE.
Expect a reply within 24 hours. It’s is not renewed unless you get a confirmation e-mail.
"What happens if I loose a book while it is on loan to me?"
If the item was found and returned before settling the issue, the library will accept the book and your overdue charges for the items will be calculated up to the date you returned the item.
Next, the library will issue you with a “Replacement note” advising you replacement options for the item. The issue will have to be settled before you can borrow any more item.
You will have to replace the item. Overdue charges will accrue until you report the item as lost.
"What happens if I find the book after I reported it as lost?"
If the item was found after you have settled the issue with the library by replacing with a new item or with financial payment, the library will not refund the amount neither will it return the replaced item.
