Adidas was created in 1924 but registered in 1949 by Adolf Dassler
It is a public corporation
It's headquarters are in Germany
It's key products are sports equipment, clothing, and sportswear
Adidas had bought out Reebok in 2005 for 3.8 billion dollars
The name Adidas comes from the Adi Dassler
Adidas is an acronym for All day I dream about sports
They can expand more by having more stores
Sign more professional athletes including Kobe Bryant and Kevin Durant
They can sponsor sports academies to increase brand name
They can make more stylish designs that people would like to wear to school
New technology including lighter weight material for soccer cleats
More consumers are trying to live healthier lifestyle and Adidas can make products to ease people into exercise
Great quality product
Strong brand name
International franchise
Great online presence
Sponsorships; such as high level athletes (Lionel Messi, Derrick Rose, Novak Djokovic), Many international events such as the Olympics even music artists such as Nicki Minaj, Katy perry and more
Wind range of products
Other outlets sell Adidas branded products ex. Sportchek
Have merged with Reebok
Well known slogans, impossible is nothing and all in or nothing
Have great marketing (product,price,promotion,place)
The success of products in this industry depends on customer loyalty
Outsource majority of production to Asia
Don't have a hockey line of products
Some of their products have a very high price point
Some of their sponsored athletes have gotten injured wearing their products
