00:06 - 00:19
Yeah. Mhm.
00:22 - 00:27
Yeah. So most people spend their time focusing on the
00:27 - 00:31
yellow part down to orange and red.
00:32 - 00:35
Okay, there's very very few people that actually get to
00:35 - 00:36
green and blue.
00:37 - 00:37
All right.
00:38 - 00:39
There are people that are in the blue section.
00:40 - 00:45
Think of these as like bob Marley uh Mahatma Gandhi,
00:45 - 00:49
right? Like people that have essentially reached their peak in
00:49 - 00:53
terms of like helping other people influence in society.
00:54 - 00:58
Uh you know, these are your in the financial world,
00:58 - 01:00
in the business world, these are your bill gates, right?
01:01 - 01:04
These are your uh Jeff Bezos, right?
01:05 - 01:08
These are high performing uh Elon musk.
01:09 - 01:14
These are people that are extremely successful but also reach
01:15 - 01:19
their potential in terms of influencing the masses.
01:20 - 01:24
And I'm not necessarily saying that you need to get
01:24 - 01:28
to that level, although I will definitely try but I'm
01:28 - 01:30
not saying that you need to get to that level.
01:30 - 01:34
What I'm saying is that we need to move away
01:35 - 01:39
from, you know, the basics which is trying to survive
01:40 - 01:43
for food and a better house, right?
01:44 - 01:46
That's the level that most people are kind of sitting
01:46 - 01:50
on and the reality is is that, you know, if
01:50 - 01:53
you truly want to live and build a successful life,
01:54 - 01:56
you know, we're gonna have to figure out how to
01:56 - 01:58
get away from that and and and that's what I'm
01:58 - 02:01
hoping that we can do with these conversations.
02:01 - 02:05
So with that, how are you going to do it?
02:05 - 02:08
Well for one you need some basic computer skills, that's
02:08 - 02:10
the reality, because like I said, the world is going
02:12 - 02:16
digital, it already is, it's just going to accelerate in
02:16 - 02:18
a much, much faster pace.
02:18 - 02:21
So at their minimum, even if you don't do any
02:21 - 02:23
single thing else for me, I would like for you
02:23 - 02:27
to at least have these core computer skills, you must
02:27 - 02:29
know how to type on a computer and by type,
02:29 - 02:32
I don't mean using one finger and type in.
02:32 - 02:35
I mean actually using your proper 10 fingers and actually
02:36 - 02:40
type in because it's very very important a bare minimum.
02:40 - 02:42
Know how to use the Microsoft word and create a
02:42 - 02:45
resume and put together a document and check your emails.
02:46 - 02:47
I know this sounds basic now you can do it
02:48 - 02:51
on your phone pretty easy but you know being able
02:51 - 02:53
to check emails, respond to email, understanding how to attach
02:54 - 02:58
documents like just basic basic computer skills and also the
02:58 - 03:01
ability to look for a job online because the bare
03:01 - 03:03
minimum you're going to need that kind of skill set
03:04 - 03:05
just to be able to survive.
03:06 - 03:08
So if even if it's just that I do for
03:09 - 03:13
my family in terms of like just helping them to
03:13 - 03:16
set themselves up review resumes and just make sure that
03:16 - 03:17
they are set up properly just to look for better
03:18 - 03:19
jobs more than happy to do that.
03:20 - 03:22
But I'd like to take things a little bit more
03:22 - 03:23
above and beyond that.
03:23 - 03:24
But let's pretend for a second that you do get
03:24 - 03:25
that off the ground.
03:25 - 03:28
Then your next goal is to start some side of
03:28 - 03:30
business now in the traditional world.
03:30 - 03:32
This is the type of business that we think about
03:32 - 03:32
as business.
03:34 - 03:34
All right.
03:34 - 03:36
Which is this notion of, you know, you you set
03:36 - 03:40
up a shop decided the road or in in some
03:40 - 03:43
sort of, you know, plaza somewhere and you sell something
03:44 - 03:46
right? This is what we're taught of a business.
03:46 - 03:50
The truth is this type of business is not any
03:50 - 03:52
single thing that's going to get you anywhere.
03:52 - 03:54
This will keep you down in that sort of like
03:54 - 03:56
red and orange there if you will right?
03:57 - 03:59
Because you'll get a dollar, you'll spend a dollar, you'll
03:59 - 04:00
get a dollar, you spend it.
04:00 - 04:01
You keep going wrong in that kind of circle.
04:02 - 04:04
The type of business that I'm talking about is potentially
04:04 - 04:08
doing things online that could scale and scale basically means
04:08 - 04:10
you can do it, you could sell to the masses
04:11 - 04:15
without having to lift more, do more, have more energy
04:15 - 04:16
or exert more energy.
04:17 - 04:20
So for example, while you're sleeping, you're still making money
04:21 - 04:24
right? And so you know, learning a skill like how
04:25 - 04:27
to post stuff, how to put things on amazon and
04:27 - 04:28
sell it right?
04:28 - 04:31
How to buy things from china, put them on amazon
04:32 - 04:33
and then sell them right?
04:33 - 04:35
I don't necessarily know how to do that, but I'm
04:35 - 04:37
sure as hell know how to figure it out.
04:37 - 04:39
Like I know enough computers and I know enough skills
04:39 - 04:42
that I could figure out the information and know how
04:42 - 04:44
to point you guys in the right direction, right?
04:44 - 04:46
And I'm not saying that you need to do this.
04:46 - 04:48
What I'm saying is that these are the type of
04:48 - 04:51
things that you need to start thinking about and and
04:51 - 04:53
and the good thing is that the technology is there
04:53 - 04:54
it's actually fairly simple.
04:55 - 04:57
You do need to have some basic computer skills.
04:57 - 05:00
But once you get past the basic computer skills it's
05:00 - 05:02
very easy for you to be able to set up
05:02 - 05:05
Some sort of a business like this where you buy
05:05 - 05:08
some things for, you know you buy something on China
05:08 - 05:12
Alibaba for for for $2 and you sell it in
05:12 - 05:15
in the US for $10 and you can make money
05:15 - 05:18
and that that alone would be a profitable business to
05:18 - 05:19
be able to get you to think there's tons of
05:20 - 05:22
people that just sit all day, that's all they do.
05:22 - 05:24
They make a little bit of money, They buy some
05:24 - 05:26
stuff from china, takes a little time to get to
05:26 - 05:29
north America and then they repackage it and sell it.
05:29 - 05:31
And this thing, in fact, here's the stats for you
05:32 - 05:36
56% and I'm not making this number of 56% of
05:36 - 05:40
amazon's business is from people doing exactly what I just
05:40 - 05:45
mentioned, basically, amazon's job is to take those products and
05:45 - 05:47
store it in their warehouse and sell it.
05:47 - 05:50
People think that amazon is a business where, you know,
05:50 - 05:53
they own and control all of the goods they don't.
05:53 - 05:57
This is actually just independent people like yourself, me and
05:57 - 06:00
you could go on amazon, register an account and start
06:00 - 06:02
putting things on amazon and having it sold and making
06:03 - 06:05
a dollar right, basically, skimming off the top, is how
06:05 - 06:06
I like to describe it.
06:07 - 06:07
All right?
06:07 - 06:09
But if you do it well, and you find a
06:09 - 06:12
product that's hit, you can make money and you could
06:12 - 06:13
change your financial position.
06:14 - 06:15
That's why I'm trying to have this conversation with you
06:16 - 06:16
guys. All right.
06:17 - 06:20
And last but not least if you do that.
06:20 - 06:23
Well, then we can start talking about how to automate
06:23 - 06:24
this entire thing.
06:24 - 06:27
Which means is a fancy word for basically saying have
06:27 - 06:29
computers do the work, right?
06:29 - 06:31
Because computers actually can do the work.
06:31 - 06:35
So, you know, first learn some basic computer skills, second
06:36 - 06:37
start a business and turn it.
06:38 - 06:40
Once you have a business is running, how can we
06:40 - 06:41
automate that business?
06:42 - 06:43
So you don't have to spend the time?
06:43 - 06:45
Just keep doing the work over and over.
06:45 - 06:47
So like I said, this is just a plea for
06:47 - 06:51
me for you to reach out to me to connect
06:52 - 06:52
with me in any way.
06:53 - 06:54
I know I spent a little time, you know, this
06:55 - 06:57
video has been a little bit longer, but please do
06:57 - 06:59
message me begging you.
07:00 - 07:02
My my like I said, I'm trying to delicate, you
07:02 - 07:04
know, a certain amount of time, it's not much time.
07:05 - 07:08
Uh and uh and and there's lots of work to
07:08 - 07:08
be done here.
07:09 - 07:13
My goal is just slowly, slowly, slowly, piece by piece.
07:14 - 07:17
Just take one person over that bridge, piece by piece,
07:18 - 07:19
that's the goal, right?
07:20 - 07:23
And hopefully hopefully, you know, as a whole and as
07:23 - 07:26
a family will start working together and we might be
07:26 - 07:28
able to build something, you know, greater.
07:28 - 07:31
So this is like I said, my first campaign in
07:31 - 07:36
doing this entire um journey with you and hopefully hopefully
07:36 - 07:37
you got something out of it.
07:37 - 07:38
Like I said around it along a little bit in
07:39 - 07:39
this video.
07:39 - 07:41
I do apologize, it's a little bit longer the video,
07:41 - 07:43
but I do want you get the message so you
07:43 - 07:46
understand where I'm coming from, what are my goals are
07:47 - 07:49
what I'm trying to accomplish with that.
07:50 - 07:53
You know, everybody has itself a wonderful week and I
07:53 - 07:57
think it's, you know, holiday and here in Canada victoria
07:57 - 07:57
Day, I'll be working.
07:58 - 08:00
So it's not a holiday for me and victor, how
08:00 - 08:01
today, in the States, etcetera.
08:01 - 08:04
So anyway, have a wonderful week and enjoy yourself.
08:04 - 08:04
Stay safe.
08:05 - 08:07
You know, it's kind of a crazy were allowed there
08:07 - 08:09
and I will talk to you some other time by
